While it is difficult to pick a single moment or scene from Garfield's Halloween Adventure, the one above sticks out slightly for this viewer. I remember the first time I saw this, and I was amazed. It quickly became a favorite of mine, and I even was a little spooked, in part because of this scene.
The old man's ghostly tale sets the stage for some great Halloween fun to come. His delivery and the animation are excellent, and Garfield and Odie's reactions are priceless. I honestly don't think there is a better Halloween Show ever produced, and this scene really sets it apart. "Believe it, my friends..."
