When at the party, we meet Andy’s family and more music and singing ensues.
Not one of the best episodes of Jack Benny, but it definitely has its charm. Some regular jokes and gags make their appearance, and the Halloween Party adds a nice touch, but they don’t get to that until nearly halfway into the episode. Now, I am a HUGE fan of Jack Benny...whether it be on the radio, on TV, or his personal life. The guy was an amazing talent who knew the value of the cast around him. He was revolutionary for his time, and a true gentleman. While some of his shows are better than others, I have yet to listen (or watch) a bad one.
